Today it reached 19 degrees Celsius.
It is November 3rd.
A great day to get some last garden chores done.
Doug put the pond cover on. Yes, he’s wearing a T-shirt!
We’ll leave this open until the weather gets colder. The pond has not even had ice on it yet!
All the leaves were mowed and mulched and blown into the flower beds.
The grass is still green and growing, so Doug actually mowed most of it one more time.
We got the tree covers out for the rhododendrons.
Mostly about protection from the snow load and breaking branches.
Birdbaths are emptied and taken down.
Bulbs are all dug up and ready for winter storage.
It was so warm and lovely out, it felt strange when the sun was so low at 4:30 already.
The yellow leaves were just glowing!
A very busy and productive afternoon.
And no toque!
